It looks like a standard Norton brake plate with scoops added. My guess would be mid 60s. Looks good though


God rides a Triumph but wishes it was a Norton.

cheaper folks cut the ends of a cubby primary chaincase and bolted them on , purely cosmetic additions to the SLS std Norton brake, very much of their time , like a leopard skin saddle cover with bacon slicers.

Who were the manufacturers of teh bacon slicers ?? Have been looking for and old set of those

If Dresda sold those scoops, I wouldn’t be surprised, but you may as well block up the holes and keep the rain out of your front brake.
