To All, if you are painting a gas tank for a 1966 bonneville us spec, here are the paint colors & codes: 1st it is base coat clear coat. 1st color is ( Flame Orange ), a 1979 chrysler color,( 9862) SV3. 2ND Color;Wimbledon white (A1633) 1964 -1979 M ...3rd color ,Gold Irid (pinstripes) A2525G. Give these numbers & codes to your nearest auto paint supplier & tell them you would like them in PPG (Brand) & the type is Omnibase . All of these paints crossover to R-M BASF Originally .....P.S. The "World Record Holder Transfer" is in Black & NOT Gold.

Absolutely correct on the decals being BLACK.

And, although Triumph called the color "Grenadier RED," it IS actually ORANGE.

The position of that black decal is also unique to 66 and something most restorations I see have wrong.
