...hello, today I found that there are several stickers that I do not have or even known the existence.
Any of you have the stickers placement for the 79 model?
For example the Emission one (one that I did not know that exist).
Could be on the rear mudguard under the seat? Not sure of the right position. In the guard I only have the Dunlop one.
The tyres (yes mine is the export model) pressure, that I think goes in the head stock. Not sure of the right position or side.
I there any Minimum oil level? Where it should be?
Is there any obscure other?

-May be some photo or a site where I can find more information would be good. There s no any complete original Triumph in this country to check.

Thank you

Think you are on your own on this one, there is a site for Commando's which gives year by year images and placements for all the decals but not seen one for Triumphs.

1. Start with the parts books and review for all decals but some will be for the dealer/first owner to remove such as the running in instructions over the speedo.

2. Use google search but using the image tab and review all of the photo's of 1979 T140E looking for the decals.

3. The bike auction sites also have good photo resources eg

https://www.bonhams.com/search/?q=t...&MR0_display=search&m0=0?q=t140E

4, Restoration blogs showing original bikes being restored, the before pictures are the best resource.

https://triumphmotorcycles.typepad.com/my_weblog/

Do not rely on one source and once you have the decals sorted post the results here for verification.

...hi Kommando, problem with internet photos is that most are from USA so possibly different version.
Also, almost all are not closer inspection photos; so like the ones that I mentioned, never saw one.
Strange why in the Triumph books for restoration etc, there s no a chapter about stickers and decals.
Strange too is that in this forum that most have stock motorcycles and great % are from UK there s no information regarding this. Like a member who bought the bike new in the 79 on...

Still I will searching, but I decided to put a thread here because I did not found anything.

Thanks

Well your first task is to know the spec the bike left the factory as, suggest you get the info from the Triumph Owners club or the Vintage Motorcycle Club librarian.
