It's always a delight to see ads by obviously knowledgeable vendors...….

people, you have to read it all to get the full value:

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap
(google map)

BSA
condition: good
fuel: petrol
title status: missing
transmission: manual

About $1,500 feel free to make a offer reasonable offers will not be refused. BSA/ Tramp between the early 40's maybe the 60'S motor is free and I believe it will run with very little work. I can wright out a bill of sell. It's in very good condition been garaged keepted all its life. It's all there. I have extra parts that can go with it for some extra money. I believe it's either a 650cc or 750cc. Bikes like this are anywhere between 10,000 and 22,000 when fixed. There is a lot of value on this bike just in good parts.

every day you do not take a chance is a day of your life that you will never get back.

I suppose that there have always been silly ads out there. But in the days before the Internet, they were not easy to find ... and when you DID find them, they were not easy to communicate to a host of other people.

Once upon a time, it would take me three weeks and a stack of publications to find 100 BSA ads. Today I can find every BSA ad in the world in 15 minutes on Google, and I can rest assured that 5 of them will have been written by someone who's trying to scam us all, or really doesn't know what they have.

The Wheel turns, and the same spoke keeps comin' 'round ....

Must be someone bit... ads down...

You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man.
I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.
