I think it is worth a call..There are very very few looking for a Matchless
I was able to get my G11 for 1200 when the owner had it for sale for 6 months at 3500

Bikes
- Triumph’s- BSA’s- Norton’s- Matchless’s - Scott’s- A Weslake racer...many others from all over the world.
If it has 2 wheels I might need it.

That's actually almost a "desperate to sell" price for that bike .... A Matchless fan would enjoy easing that back toward stock ....

A lotta people use that narrow tank on trials machines... I don't believe it holds much...

I am pretty sure whoever has cut off the rear stock fuel tank mounting... Tabs? Pads? Brackets? The front ones are still there...

I'm not a G80 guy enough to know, but if a bracket or so needs welding back on, I'd knock $1000 off the price I'd sell/buy it for. No Name Man has been thoroughly through Ben Strain's G80, he'd probably know ...

Its a standard G80S not a G80CS, a lot of difference right there.

Unfortunately, those mounts are part of a cast iron fitting..... Isn't cast iron hard to weld? And then blend out?
