New to the forum been watching for a while

Allow me to introduce myself

My name is Jon from Leicestershire (UK) and I'm currently building a manx framed triton

The basis is a manx frame with a pre unit 8 valve motor

Kind regards

Jon

when I can figure out how to post on this site I will

Hi Jon,and welcome to Britbike.com. I have seen photos of your project at http://classicbikes.actieforum.com/t2199-manx-framed-8-valve-pre-unit-triton. Very nice! There is a "Photo Posting Tutorial" at the top of the entry list for this forum.

Hello Jon, and welcome to this forum, interesting project !
The Dunstall frontfork and discbrakes look nice, the 8-valve Triumph engine looks fine too.
I am looking forward to watching your progress.

Rickman/Dunstall/Manx/Triton...

I can't think of one word that grabs it. "Excellent" just isn't quite enough.

Hello again, where has 8 years gone?

An update sold the triton project three years ago and brought it back 2 months ago a little bit further down the line the wheels are laced the back is in building the forks as we speak taken far to long so intend to have it up and running this summer, the guy I sold it to had that many projects on the go he could never see it being done so I jumped at the opportunity to buy it back (huge regret selling but divorce has its price) at 1500 less than i sold it for Ill post some more pics

I didn't realize there was an 8-year gap in the postings 'till you said something!

Looks like a beautiful and someday-rideable project, looking forward to seeing how it goes ... !!

I stopped believing for a little while this morning. Journey is really going to be upset.

That looks like some reasonable progress, interesting twist of fate.

Keep the great photos coming as you get on...

I wonder if Richrd can re-name the thread to a more appropriate title?

I think the OP can change it if he goes back to the first post and edits the title.

the burning pile of hundred dollar bills

wait, i think i can use that one

The study of the art of motorcycle maintenance is really a miniature study of the art of rationality itself. Working on a motorcycle, working well, caring, is to become part of a process, to achieve an inner peace of mind. The motorcycle is primarily a mental phenomenon.
