And don't forget to put the blackeyed peas on to soak tonight in preparation for fixing peas and hog jowl for the New Year!

Good luck all year long, or so they say. Been working for me .... !

Hey Mike! The very best of everything to you and yours in 2019. Are you still floating around the olde country on a narrow boat? Happy and safe travels.

Happy New Year All.

Out and about on a "rice-rocket" earlier today (UK), not done that on New Year's Day for a while, I'd forgotten the adrenaline rush, which was a bit of a surprise at my (relatively) advanced years.

Does the urge for pinning the throttle ever fade completely?

Happy new year to everyone and all the best in 2019.
We were out today for a wee ride-about, the temps were in teh lower-middle 50s (F), the sun came out after a few days of rain, and the wind did. blow a bit... But I think I had about 80 or so miles after all was said & done.
Nice way to begin the new year, riding o'sickles with good buddies.

Cheers, y'all

oh yes and Pennsyltuckey Tradition has it that instead of black eyed peas, it's Pork & Sauerkraut. I am slow cooking a smoked ham hock, smoked kielbasa, & some pork rib-ends along with a load of home brewed sauerkraut, in my "classic", "vintage" Crock Pot.
Should be ready before bed time! laugh

Hmm, thankee all. Not sure that some of those ingredients are available at our local supermarkets.
Don, still living afloat, although as I type we are Coventry at my brother-in-law's for an extended Christmas, got an appointment at Rugby Hospital tomorrow, and easier to get there from here than from the marina were GARNET is.

Mike, home is where we moor it.
