Don’t know if anyone can help me but just brought what I’ve been led to believe is a genuine Lyta tank but sadly no idea if it’s genuine other than the sellers word for it

Dunlop was BSA supplier -1957
Lyta was BSA supplier - 1958-?


See these images at the bottom there is a difference, Lyta was made more cheaper and was chosen as new supplier 1958.

I was unaware that Dunlop made alloy fuel tanks. The last picture shows the bottom of a tank that has been damaged and repaired by cutting at least three holes for access and then welding a patch over those holes.
