Wade, there are no rallies planned (yet) for Greece.
The French BSA club is alive and well, they hosted a jolly nice summer camp this year.

Booking forms will be released hopefully in the New Year.
There will be sufficient accommodation for everyone with double & single rooms available (over 100 rooms available), camping and hook-up for caravans/motor homes.
Remember booking is to be done through your local BSA national club

That is good Andy. Week long camping is now no longer an option for me frown

Looking forward to meet up with you. Will we see you at John Bull Rally 2019? I would not mind if you go by car. Guess you had done many miles on your Flash & the Box.
Wish you well and hugs to Marie

Andy thanks for the update. I'm planning to bring Miss C to her very 1st BSA International and we (she) would like a room, not a tent! laughing

OK I admit I'll gladly take a room over a tent as well. Sure look forward to seeing all our friends there!

I am curious about the average cost to fly over to this rally. Would there be enough to do with out a bike? I don’t know if I can afford to fly my bike over. Thanks Jeff

Shipping your bike is MUCH cheaper than flying it.
When there are a lot of you 10+ bikes, then getting a container sorted is even cheaper.

Borrowing a BSA whilst in the UK is even cheaper.

A couple years ago, Air Canada was flying bikes, one way to the UK & EU (among other places?) for pretty cheap like I think it was around 600.00 CDN? Pretty sure it's up over 1000.00 nowadays tho I've only heard 3rd hand information. Beow are a couple links neither of which mentions actual cost. I'm sure. quick call or reaching out in some way would get you right to the bottom line. I do personally know a couple people who have flown bikes around (out of Canada to UK & EU) and they reported that it was easy.

Just checking to see if booking forms are available yet? The Ohio Valley BSAOC officers have not heard of or seen them yet, but .... ?

The first month of the New Year is just about out, and I thought I'd risk being annoying rather than risk being caught out by not asking?

The booking forms and rally information will be released to the BSA International clubs at the beginning of February to synchronise with the publication of the BSA OC UK magazine 'The Star'

Hello Andy and everybody,

Aad Otte and I are also curious about the booking forms and the facilities on the campsite and in the Fire College.
We want to come to GB this year, riding with the whole family on three BSA's, just like we did last year in France.
The ferries to GB offer sale prices until the 1th of February so we want to know what en when to book.
But I think we have to be patient, I believe?

Greetings, Marca Bultink

I heard from some Belgium friends, that they will not come to the rally, because they dont want to leave their old dog alone at home. They says there will no dogs allowed on the campground?
I would regret not to meet up with them just because of strange regulations. Maybe you can enlighten us with details?
Dieter

Hey Marca
Looking forward to see you and your family at the rally
Cheers

The reason why there are NO dogs allowed is that the rally site is an active Fire Service training college, and that training of rescue dogs (search dogs, etc) takes place on site.

Well, of course we have to accept these rules. Although i never ever have heard of some sort of trouble with dogs at the BSA Rallies before.
A bit sad, because we used to call the rallies a big family like meeting. And for some of us, the dog is a part of the family.
