Hey so maybe it's an Apple thing, but just lately, I have been having issues with photos...

Most of my images appear in my (and others') posts, BUT with some images, instead of the actual photo, there's a rectangular box in place of the image containing the words "linked image". Clicking on the box either has no result, or leads to a Safari error page.

Reloading the page doesn't seem to help- sometimes all images are replaced by the linked image rectangles. Deleting the image and reposting it doesn't help, either.

Anyone else getting this?

Quinten,
Take a look at my Miscellany thread's latest posts. I posted 3 images, linked from Zenfolio vie the image insert icon in Full Editor. Haven't looked this morning but last night, 2 of 3 showed up. Reloaded the page, deleted the image and reposted it... nothing seemed to help. I'll look now tho to see if anything changed.

EDIT: OK everything is there, maybe it just takes minute sometimes.

Using Google Chrome browser on an older iPad, forum member profile pictures are not being displayed. Not sure when this started but think it may be within a few weeks. Works fine with Safari. Will check on my desktop computer but think it is probably OK.

With so many devices, browsers, software and operating system versions, global syndication, etc. Internet problems can be daunting to solve. Throw in Adobe Experience Manager and you get a real can of worms.

Changes can be instantaneous for some users and take variable spans of time for others to see.

Yeah, I'm straight-up Safari on all my devices, both at home and on the road. The very fact that the forum works as well as it does (and has, continually over the years) is pretty awesome.

Tom,

Using Chrome on my Samsung tablet, your pictures displayed fine just now. Same result when I used the default Samsung internet browser. When I've noticed my own pictures not displaying (or intermittently displaying), it was a temporary issue with Zenfolio being down. They fixed whatever was wrong fairly quickly. IIRC, they had a message posted that they knew there was an issue and that they were working on it.
