Anyone know where Commandos got their paint job ?

Norton Villiers didn't have a paint shop (?), the 850 tanks and sidecovers were contracted out to be painted someplace ?
(The 750's were colored in the gelcoat of the fibreglass, so the tanks and sidecovers didn't need painting ?)

For that matter, where were the frames done in black ?
By Reynolds.
Or sent someplace after Reynolds had built them ?

??

Thanks. I've had several similar suggestions, written and emailed a few folks already, see what sort of replies we get.

From past experience, probably very little, but that might be jumping the gun. !
My supply of Royal Mail stamps has just dried up too, this snail mail is getting durned spensive these days....
