Does anyone have experience with the new Norton Commando Roadster tanks that are being produced in Pakistan? My Roadster has the older fiberglass tank, and I was debating going this route.

I saw one a couple months ago.

I didn't think it was too bad. I've heard that you may have to do a little tweaking to make it perfect (like pressure testing it and welding up the holes, etc.), but then you will probably have to do a lot more with an original steel tank you might find.

I think I will have one if the price is right. Where can thay be had and for how much. My fiberglass one is slowly being consumed by my motor.

Alcohol dissolved my fiberglass tank! I found a used tank for 250 and with a couple of spots of bondo and a spray was back on the road. Keep looking, they pop up now and then.

Nope. Ridiculous price. I think you can get an alloy one for $600 but that is also ridiculous. Might as well just buy another bike for the bits.

With some Commandos fetching in excess of $10k, a few hundred for a decent tank with no bondo isn't that bad.

The days of picking up Nortons for chump change are long gone.
