Looking for a center stand for '72 Trident. I think it also fits 69-70 T120.

Stepping on others doesn't make you stand tall.

Hi David,

All Triumph triple centrestands - from earliest T150 to T160 - will fit. Likewise certainly from later dry-frame 650's. Later ones have 7/16"-20 UNF threads and use shouldered pivot bolts (the pivot is 1/2"-diameter). I'm not sure if you can use one from as early as '63 but certainly some earlier ones, that have 1/2"-26 BSC thread and 'unshouldered' pivot bolts, also fit.

Risking telling you something you know already, the standard pivot bolt locking arrangement of half-thickness nuts and tab washers is crap. I've been able to obtain stainless 7/16"UNF Staytite all-metal self-locking nuts and have them machined to half thickness (I also have better - longer - pivot bolts made up in stainless, because what's obtainable under part number, certainly in GB, is also crap mad ).

Hth.

Regards,

That's actually cast on one of the legs, with "83-3071" on the other leg? They're the numbers of the individual castings, making up one of the oif centrestands.

Hth.
