Hi, Can anyone recommend a supplier in the UK of a rear mudguard and number plate surround/holder. The only one I have found is George Prew but they are unpainted and undrilled.

Hi commando, C&D had none. Autocycle had both which I have ordered . They took over from the original BSA supplier apparently, so should be good quality. Thanks for the information.

Autocycle have the dies and fixtures to make the mudguards and also supply to the other dealers so always first on the list to try. Good to hear they are still on the ball.

Sad to state that I recommend Autocycle to a friend for his B44 guards and my Father for his RGS looking Super Rocket, this was following my A65 guards being bought a few years ago which fitted a treat (and im still happy with)

The B44 guards were closer than those of Burton Bike Bits but the curves were wrong on the rear, the front guard was nothing like what it should be, in the end we assumed it must have been for a B50T/MX

AC, suggested GS guards would look better on the super rocket so my father went with that aproach. The front guard has required some heat treatment to try and get it to the right shape (although to me it still doesn't look right) and whilst the rear guard fits ok, the bracket for the stays is of the wrong dimensions and one from BBB was purchased for it to fit correctly. On both occasions I recommended to these people that they bought unchromed guards, autocycle will rechrome for a small price and I think that is really good of them, I scratched mine when drilling so chroming afterwards seemed the better way to go, also your not risking blistering the chrome when it is drilled....

I hate to knock a good supplier and they are probably still the best out there, still pleased with my A65 guards but something seems to have gone a miss somewhere... It doesn't help that the after support is typical "were right attitude", they probably had the right front guard, but it doesn't mean they sent out the right one for the B44........
