I've never heard of a longer shift lever being made, but why not find a tatty one (poor chrome), cut it and weld in an extension? Easy to do, and that will also allow you to experiment with the amount of space you really need.

The (much) earlier longer Norton shift levers have a different spline to them, so no answers to them in that direction. The AMC levers always seem to be that short version - although it goes very well with a precise short movement click through the gears.
Did I see that the Mk 3 Commando shift levers (some ?) were alloy ? - that might be easier to cut and extend and weld, since no rechroming involved. Obviously you'd need an alloy welder.
