A mate ? of mine left his M21 at my place to have a look at his clutch which is grabbing
the g/box was dry the primary case was dry ,so what are the oil levels on both these .i am still working on clutch cable

Gearboxes take 1 imp pint ( around 550 ml ) of SAE 30
Primary is around 120 ml but both types have a fil level plug
Tin primaries is easy, it is the one in the front
Alloy primaries it is the 2nd screw from the front on the bottom run.
In the primary you just need enough oil to touch the lower run of the chain.
