Looks like the fender is for a 19" wheel and they have an 18" on the bike

that front fender just ruins the look, the bottom stay is black, top is chrome, the gap, with that bike being all polished up like that and looking good, he should've at least sourced a fender that fit

I agree with the comment that the wheel must be the smaller Dia 18" version. I have seen them, and they are not easy to tell in a photo unless you compare them to a 19"" or if you are able to look at size markings etc. Looks to be the same size as the rear. It would be a fairly easy fix,....... With a replacement wheel. The bike isn't cheap ..............

Only a tachometer and no speedometer?
I think the '69 had the clutch cable come in from the top, not from the side of the timing case.
Looking at the vertical pixels of the two rims it is a 19" front so the mudguard must be wrong.

Almost looks like the upper lugs on the legs are too high, or is it just me? This shows the fender edge about even with the bottom of the gaitor (which may be a little low on this bike).

Here's a pic for comparison:

Nope, '69 still had the clutch cable coming in from the side.

I agree that someone who put together such an otherwise pretty bike would mismatch the front wheel and fender so badly should get it sorted if he wants top money for it. It looks wrong.

I stopped believing for a little while this morning. Journey is really going to be upset.
