He's got fairly high prices optimistically, but don't let that deter you if you want one of these. He's negotiable, especially if you have Nortons or parts for swap.
I've drooled over the '69 since he got it. It has wonderful local history attached to it and is a diamond in the rough. I know that I could make some serious money with this if I had it, since I do all the work myself. It needs the right colors on it for one thing. Runs good. We blasted around the east side of the island last month and he led the way almost the whole time and we had to work to keep up. It's got new Premiers but I believe it's still got points ignition.
The pink one is the one I nicknamed the "Breast Awareness Bike" since it's pink and I like to give Bear a goodnatured poke in the ribs sometimes. The red one is the highly desirable 73 disc braked 5 speed right side shifter that OIF guys claim is the best of the era. It has the Buco bags on it. He keeps saying they're factory, but, no, they're dealer supplied and they were mounted to many bikes of this vintage. Very cool, though, and I wish I had a set on my bike.
It costs 750$ to get a bike to San Diego from here via Pasha transport. Or thereabouts.
He's offering my services for getting these back on the road. I'm not sure I can take the time at the moment since I'm in the process of relocating. The two 70's bikes need the usual waking up from indoor storage.
