Discussions elsewhere have produced pics of green Atlas's.

Anyone know what colour Nortons called this ?
Is this mentioned or shown in the brochures anywhere ?
Was this only for 1967 ?

So the range of colours was silver, black, cherry red, green. ?

I recall Misty Green popped up more than once in my search but have not seen any reference.

Mist green was a color that BSA used for the Bantam, I'm not so sure that Nortons would have wanted that connection.(and apologies to any bantam owners out there !). Sunbeam used it too, on that 500cc twin shaftie inline.

Mint Green perhaps - although this just came out of thin air, nothing to back it up...

We need to find it in a brochure somewhere.
I seem to recall that a few P11's may have been done in this color too.

The Commandos had an option of Fireflake Emerald Green only a year or 3 later.
Although its different, and a bit darker.

According to the parts book, the colour is Flamboyant Green.

Aha, Thanks.

So, when all else fails, RTFM - or in this case the parts books.
May we ask which parts book this was in - year or number. ?

Also note that Raleigh (bicycles) used this name at some point,
although rather a different green.
Edit. Actually, different photos show it differently.
This may be closer ??

And is tagged as 1972

The parts book is Norton Villiers, Master parts list, 1966 - 1967 - 1968
for models - 650SS : Atlas : N15CS : P11 : P11A : G15CS : G15CSR : G15 Mark 2

It is the second part of a book printed in NZ.
The first part covers models 1963 - 65.
