Hi all,
I need a set of shuttle valves; the old pair are badly corroded.

My home machine shop is well equipped, so am considering making a set.

Looking for advice on material please; the original set are aluminium - what is the most suitable grade?

Any thoughts on a different material (ie bronze)? Would the higher densidey (weight) change the response characteristics of the forks?

Also, I need a pair of "outer members" (the steel sliders); the originals also have a lot of corrosion inside.

Does anyone have a good - serviceable set for sale, or can recommend where i can purchase?

Thanks,

Richard
