I will pre run the route sunday but i already know of a few things that will be different. the first section on the parkway has the viaduct closed so you will be on 221 sooner but arrive at the same intersection.the second gas stop will be in mountain city than over to shady valley where lunch be at the raceway across from the country store ( long story on the gas/lunch change) next one is bridge construction JUST before the 91/58 turn coming into damascus. i will update this after i run the route

Well, at least we can't say "Our Infrastructure Is All Falling Apart!" any more. They're working on bridges everywhere these days ....

We went through Damascus for years on parade day and made it OK, although it was a bit of a delay, and hard on bikes that were on the overheating side anyway. But it could be done if the other road is blocked ....

Thanks for the scouting runs!

the pre run is done. yes the parkway is shorter from the starting point so you will exit at the first 221 exit. they do good job of marking the detour so shoulg go smooth there. 221 has some repaving going on in the detour section so i wount know where they will be next sat till you ride it .after that all is good to the first stop. they have no premium so if you dont need gas dont get any.as the next stop is just under 100 miles.the next part after lunch is also in pretty good shape except the bridge at the 91/58 turn. i will advise most to get gas at the third stop because of the added miles from the second stop. he has 90 octain without the corn squeezings. now for the bad part. the second part of the parkway is still the same distance as last year. laughing

see yall in a few days
