My old A10 that I have for the last 50years since I was 17 was stolen from my shed last week. It was stolen from Holt, Norfolk UK. Its a bit rustier and dustier than in the photo. If you or anyone in the club hears or sees anything of the old beast I would appreciate info. Can send photo if it would help Registration number is KBJ 203

Just received the above, today, if anyone has any info, been offered one of these, please contact me or the above.

Who knew it was in your shed?

Who has a big mouth, told "someone" what he saw?

I cannot see the bike as i am not on bookface. Keep an eye on fleabay, as i believe thats where stolen bikes appear in parts. Another possible is it will pop up in eastern Europe as a restored machine, i hear this is what happens with stolen vehicles of all types.

I seriously doubt that it will be resold with it's registration number intact
So how about some engine & frame numbers,
Also some photos that we can download then upload to our various club websites.

FACE BOOK is the thing with the big mouth.
Not only does it tell every one on the planet what you have, it also tells them where you are 24 / 7
Any one who has a historic motorcycle and is on FACE BOOK has put out a gilt edged invitation to have it stolen

Same thing for people who put photos of their bikes on the "cloud" and even worse photos of themselves with clear images of their face & the motorcycle.
Google will identify you and just like Farce Book can track your every step broadcasting to any one who wants to do a search, what you have in your garage , who you are and where you are.
When you don't pay for something, YOU are the product.

That is why you put photos on forums like this one that do not track & tace you where you can hide your personal details behind an avitar.

When my kids go on vacation I always tell not to post anything on facebook until you get home, no need to tell the world your not home, come take my stuff.

And does that influence their behaviour in any way?

Yes, they didn't post their pictures until they got home.

Vacations are times to 'get away" from problems, not to drag them along with you.
Just confiscate the kids' cell phones until they get home.
Problem solved.

Crying and squawking problems will replace it, though.
