I am posting this as a reminder. this ride is in the mountains and as such the weather is unpredictable. you should be ready with cold and wet gear at all times along with all safety gear. also all three states are helmet and lights laws.also the roads can have gravel. sand, wet leeves, mud and other obstacles so it is up to you to ride at YOUR comfort level. there is a chase truck and hand outs of the route so hopefully no one will get lost BUT bring a map if you think need one.

...not to mention the occasional ground hog or Forrest rat (deer). We do have some hunters in the crowd. I have yet to see a holster for an open sights Winchester on a motorcycle though.

It should really read something more like this...

I am posting this as a reminder. This ride is for Brit bike owners and as such the riders are unpredictable. You should be ready with cold beer at all times, along with all safety gear. All three states have helmet and headlight laws. Also the roads can have gravel, sand, wet leaves, mud, and broken down bikes in the strangest places, so it is up to you to ride at YOUR comfort level. There is a chase truck and maps of the route, so hopefully no one will get lost. BUT feel free to bring your wife if you feel like you'll need directions.

clap

Hmm, my wife can't read a map, and would definitely not want to try from the pillion of my last ride!

We bought a Bultaco Matador once with just such a holster. Found it in a barn in east Tennessee.

I'm not quite there, still able to survive a weekend in a tent.
I will bring the cigars, though (and the Jameson.)
