i love liz story. i lived in los gatos when wyndham hill was thriving in the 1980s and 90s, and i grabbed everything by her i could find, along with george winston, michael hedges, and a slew of others.
unclassifiable music, almost all of it. no pigeonholes ever seemed to fit what they did.
Speaking of Blues... Johnny Winter at Woodstock- playing with a slide on his pinky. Workin that electric 12 string! COOL with his red cape on!
I didn't even realize he was at Woodstock but was watching an interview with Leo Lyons (of Ten Years After) & Johnny Winter. Johnny said he flew in on the helicopter and laid down to sleep a while. Somebody woke him up at midnight saying, hey- you guys are on NOW.
...I do not listening this country billy music but I stumbled upon this very good one. The overall tone is great and the simple yet effective arrange is very good. May be I am biased due to those are very similar of many of mine.
