It's time once again for the Meltdown Vintage M/C Show in downtown Hendersonville, NC, on Saturday April 28, 2018.

More details at... http://www.meltdownvintage.com/

This is a not so much a motorcycle "show" as it is an organized "barley therapy" happening where you can walk up and down several streets looking at bikes that got ridden to the event. It is held in the streets right in front of Appalachian Brewery, so there is plenty of beer and good food. The event itself is not highly organized other than that the streets are closed to automobile traffic. The brewery also provides live music. It all adds up to a day of fun, walking around, drinking, looking at bikes and people, and generally having a good time. You can also buy a raffle ticket for the 1979 Triumph Bonneville. Admission is FREE.

I like this event becasue it is one of a few that haven't been over-run by the Harley crowd and attitude. It's a very laid-back day with lots of easy going people. It's not all all British, they'll be a goodly number of German, Italian and Jap bikes there too. But it is a Fun outing.

There are videos on YouTube from 2016, but the event has quadrupled in size to fill 5 city blocks since then.
