Hi mates,

I do have a question regarding the waterslide transfer for the side panels of an A 65 Lightning from 1970. The bike's colour is flamboyant red.
According to the parts list the part-# is 60-2371. It does not differ between the colurs red and blue. At least as far as I am ware and according to Roy Bacon's BSA Twin restoration bible those two colour options were available.

Val aka rocketgoldie has been so kind and pointed me towards the VMMC webshop. They do have a transfer (click here) that seems to be the right one at least graphic-wise but I am not sure about the colour. I think it should be all gold for the red side panel?

Could you please help me out and enlighten me? In best case you could post a picture how it should look like.

Thanks in advance for any of your highly appreciated input.

Cheers!

Ph.

Best regards
Phil

If they are of the same type sold by the British BSAOC then they are really nice to apply and fairly robust as far as water slides go.

I'll report after having them applied. Nevertheless due to previous experiences I have bought four of them, just in case... eek

Cheers!
