Don Hutchinson is out of the painting business! facepalm I'm disapointed, naturally.

Can you recommend a very good painter who knows Triumph patterns, color etc.
Would prefer Pa. But not limited to my own state. Thanks.

Give Jay a call at VTS, he has done some top-notch restorations and customs.

... he's in MA.

Suggest you try Mike Wambold.
Details as per:

Mike Wambold
1455 Blue Mountain Drive
Danielsville PA 18038
Tel #: 610-730-2789
[email protected]

Suggest that you tell him that Richard Beard (me) recommended him.
He did a gas tank, oil tank and side cover for me for a 1965 T100SR that I am restoring.
Really first class job.
Not cheap but the best very rarely are.

As far as I know, Don Hutchinson is still supplying paint, if not applying paint.

Hey, Kurt, you are nearer to the action than most of us.
What has happened to Don?
Has he retired--or just stopped painting?
Big loss if he has stopped painting---even bigger loss if he has stopped everything.

Twelve miles to be exact!

I just phoned, spoke with Mike, Don will be in this afternoon -- afternoon (Eastern Time) is the best time to reach Don, by phone or in person. The business is open, doing what he has always done, except for applying paint.

As I previously posted, Don is supplying, but not applying, paint. Bear in mind, all you youngsters, Don is almost as old as I am, he's younger by four days smile

Hope that helps!

Thanks, Kurt--appreciate the feedback.
If he is younger than you by four days I guess that makes him all of 25 years old!?

Don Roe (DWR) has an excellent reputation, but may be a bit too far away.

Don Hutchinson continues to supply paint.
As stated in my ORIGINAL post, he will no longer be in the painting business
