I am in the process and near completion of 10 complete sets of A65 Clubman rearset footrest kits, these are top quality laser cut polished stainless steel and come with chrome re worked kick start lever, gear change, black two pack brake pedal and footresrt hangers, all the fastenings in polished stainless steel with the correct threads, you remove your standard parts and these fit straight on, no additional work. These are exactly how the Clubman rearsets were in 1965. For more details contact [email protected]

We both did Roger.

Only reason I took mine off at the moment is so I can hopefully be carrying a pillion wink . But all good plans turn to s**t like that where I'm concerned.

This is really close to a commercial endeavor looks like first time poster to just list his wares.I don't see it going against any of the advertizers here but if Morgan does not like it this whole thread will be removed.

Cheers

Mr Carter, I am so sorry that my post has caused you to comment in this way !, I can assure you that this is in no way commercial, I have read the posts on this site for many years now and learned a great deal !, which in turn has helped me to build one nice A65 Clubman rep which I will post picture's of on this site in due course as evidence of my claim, My humble intention s mearly to give something back, given that several members have previously enquired where they can obtain these items, I am proud to be able to contribute some items that help to keep these old girls running in this way, however should my post still offend, I will voluntary remove it,
Kind regards Ken

Mike--at the end of the day you are the moderator.
However it seems to me that you are maybe being a bit hard on this lad.
He has made some rear sets for himself and in response to requests from friends has made up a few extra sets, some of which he is giving others the opportunity to procure.
Knowing something of this type of situation I would doubt whether he is going to make any "profit" out of it--maybe just cover his costs---so "commercial" is perhaps an exaggeration.
IMHO people doing this for the benefit of others in this Brit bike community should be encouraged--not the opposite.
Just my two centsworth.

There has been other sales pitches on this board which have not even been glanced at in this way, but I'm not here to point fingers whistle

As being someone who has made one of these kits himself (like Roger) and even using favours from friends to make most of the parts I can say it wasn't a cheap afair. I also doubt this poster will be making any great profit from them. But I would still like to see his product.

You should Rich....I think we got them from the same retailer. laugh beerchug

Again thanks for all your help. Of all the mods I have done to my bike the rear sets are hands down at top of the list. I find them just so much more comfortable than stock.

The latest incarnation.

Roger,

It does amaze me how comfortable the factory style rear sets are. The ergo's just work. The only down side.....the oil cap does get warm.....

Stay tuned....gonna be doing a long day soon on the Clubman........details to follow.

BTW, yours is looking good

I'm starting to figure that if courting then i need to find one that enjoys motorbikes too. If I find a good one who eventually wants to ride her own BSA then I can revert to the clubman setup.

There's method in the madness wink but the rear sets and clubman seat gave me as much comfort as a modern bike does after a 330 mile day of riding.

Allan,

This is the 21st century. Save yourself the grief. Find a woman you hate, buy her a house. Saves all the grief later on
