Can anyone confirm the capacity of the steel Firbird scrambler tank? I measured out the new Rickmann modded tank I made to 16 ltrs and want a comparison to see if I will save on fill up stops each week. Base coat of paint down, used seal all on suspect areas where vibration or rubbing may take place then coated that with JB then bondo. I had some delicate shaping to do since I had some warpage on welding the 20g. Not easy stuff and if you buff it? it gets thin so safety first on all weld seams even though I did a 8psi air test and liquid full tank overnight sit as tests. So if I only gained 2 ltrs I am a bit bummed, LOL!
