Hy all Back home since yesterday afternoon, but need to recover a bit. Cant get on my computer at home, cause we get a new floor in the livingroom and everything is out of the way for some time. Will take some days to upload pics from the rally and send them. Then my story will be told. To just identify some people, here is some names: First row in the front. Aad from NL, wellknown Ray beezagezauk, Jan from Swiss, laying in front id Dutch headmaster Frans, sorry about the two chaps down on the right; didnt get their names. second row from left: Marca, Aads better half, Ian aka frank, Morgan himself, Alex with the banner, just me behind on top of all, jung Allen holding other end of banner, California Craig in the background, then two english gents and a lady, hard to identify. W ill have to check on a better pic, later on. Man with hat is Boda from Swedish OC, guy with shades, hard to recon..then lightningrob, behind him is Reiner from German OC, and sorry again about the other two chaps beside.
There were some people missing, because the committe meeting was not over yet. So there should have been by ex. Helen from Sweden, Per b from Norway, Andy Lorenz of course, and some bb guests who said they will become regular members now, like truckermats and erling with his special hot rodded B33 combo. Will later tell more about it.
Britbike is interesting & I recognize quite a few characters but I'm totally unimpressed with Photobucket which will be the store for most of my pics. At least when I spend hours in the shed/workshop, I can see something worthwhile -not so with this 'magic box of lights'
Thank you Rob it seems strange to be sober at this time of the evening. I'll send some more stuff direct I was so impressed with the A10's at the rally too. So much that I'm checking out a 'project' this weekend:beerchug
My 'project' has turned into a magical mystery tour. I think I've bought an A10 Scrambler - no rear frame loops but the serial number just doesn't match up to any Spitfire information that I've read on the net and as yet, Steve Foden the BSAOC dating officer hasn't replied to my letters containing all the photos & details - I don't want to hassle him because he performs a valuable service at club level voluntarily.
There's a lot of good information on here - and I'm hoping somebody might be able to point me in the right direction
Hi Perry, anything Goldstar, RGS or spitfire scrambler, the best place to look is on the Gold star board shown further down on the forum list, it's very detailed on those marques and you will get some good information. Anything strictly BSA on the BSA board, and anything more general or the parts which were the same for Triumph and BSA, I tend to post on the "motorcycles in general" board, you should always get the answer your looking for then :bigt
