Had a great time at Mid-Ohio! Sorry I didn't get a chance to visit "the compound", sounds like I missed a good party. (Is that where the fireworks were coming from at 2:00 am?)

Highlights for me were the Wall of Death show, and the flattrack races at the fairgrounds Sat. night. Speedway bikes on a 1/2 mile, good Gawd! Also got to see a VERY fast B25 win his class against a bunch of Bultacos, a 75-year-old rider ride the wheels off a T140 (which sounded awesome), and a maniac on a rigid, brakeless HD panhead (that's right, panhead, not a side-valve) out-ride a Yamaha XS750. The track was in perfect condition, just about every bike on it was running great, and no one "stepped off" all night. Little disappointed there were no Gold Stars or G80s, but a great show nevertheless.
