Hey, I want to use this lamp on my project. But I am curious about what Make/Model it is from. All the extra hardware (that I prolly won't be using) should make it easy to identify.
The lens is Hella, SSB 378, SAE HR 93, and these numbers 301-111, 603-03. No marking on the bucket. I haven't opened it up yet - later this evening. Anyone recognize it?
Thanks
Al

Headlight looks like one that was on a Yamaha XT500 I had... though I think the ears may have been different?

That almost looks like a Molex connector.
In any case, Hella is German, not Japanese. Can't say about the whole unit, though.
My lens also says Hella, but it's an upgrade.

I opened the bucket and there is not a stamping or label anywhere inside or out. The grommet for the three wires is very heavy/thick.
The side marker lights don't look familiar to anyone? They are very heavy. All the screws on the brackets and side lights are allen screws - stainless and the marker mount bolt is hollow for the wires to pass through and is also stainless.
Sorry to bug everyone about this - I guess it's a bit obsessive.
