I am just curious, who will go for the next BSA International.
Me, for sure. Some family members possibly parttime (depends on work, dogs care etc.) Try to get some friends from far south of Germany up here, to start together in a group to DK on nice backroads. Will be 200 miles, with no heavy baggage(Pic-up will follow), nice weather ordered already.
See you guys and girls.

Hey Dieter,

I'll probably be riding up from the Rotterdam (Netherlands) area with an overnight stop around Hamburg. If the timing is right maybe we could meet up for the final leg of my journey?

Yep, taking the back roads from Rotterdam, via Bremerhaven and a ferry across the Elbe.
Hamburg is very nice, but I don't want to sit on the Motorway for 800 km.

I'm going to put it in my calendar, then wait and see how the summer is shaping up.
With any luck I can come, then Cynthia can join me in time for the day trip to Copenhagen.

No promises as of yet.

Myself & Ray are looking for an extra person to share a cabin with on the Hull-Rotterdam crossing.
Approx 170 return including bike.

The jobs a goodun. We now have a full cabin so there is a saving to be made compared to 2 persons travelling together.

I overbooked myself with fun things this year, and won't be at the International, as much as I enjoy the ones I've attended over the years.

Sounds like a great place and I'll miss some of the folks that I ONLY see at Internationals - they're more faithful than me apparently!

I stopped believing for a little while this morning. Journey is really going to be upset.

Love to be there Deet, but the Continent will have to wait..

I'm shooting for the 2018 International.
Retirement from present employment is 2017 or mid 2016 at best. At that time I will be able to play more.
We'll be relocating out of this state to take full advantage of my (our) paupers pensions.
I'm in the middle of creating the presentation for the sale of my property.
Anyone who has visited me knows I've got a row to hoe or a hoe to row. I'm a very busy man.
Lots of work to do but my job continues to get in the way.

Further down the road I'd like to ship two bikes to Dover. One to tour the UK and one for romping around Bavaria.
I think or I have heard that you can book passage with your cargo out of Houston. 13 days at sea... it that about right?
4000 nautical miles?

Best I can do for now is travel down to Lake Cachuma for the Memorial Day Weekend, looking forward to that.

Hey... Bill (Boomer) is retired. I'm sure he has nothing better to do.

A couple of things in my life have got in the way, so sorry folks Denmark is not possible for us.
Italy next year will also be a no no but for different reasons.
But we are planning on Netherlands 2017

I've been retired for 4 1/2 years now and I still can't seem to catch up on chores, projects, honeydews and if time allows, BritBike work. As in another thread it has been noted that when one retires there seems to be more at home work then when one was still working.

My BB Goldie top end has been at the machine shop for almost three months now, geesh!, but I've been promised the new liner and bore will be done this weekend and all will be ready for reassembly.

GiGi, (Marilyn), and I discussed which International will be our next and this one was considered but monetary constraints ruled it out. We had such a blast at Petaluma, meeting all the BritBike family, that we are definitely going to make another just not sure which is next. Since I have heritage and family in OZ we are for sure planning on that one in 2018.

Sorry that we can't be there Dieter,

Bill B...

I think Oz will have an excellent turn out, it's in the "savings" stages for me as I intend to have a month off and pass over to NZ as well.
