I like Walridge's, have ordered a lot of their stuff over the years.

One item to be careful of ... the "NJB" shrouded shocks and the "Cheap Shocks" really ARE cheap, in all senses of the word. They look good, but I wouldn't use them again on a bike I was going to ride! They're good for about 500 miles then sag and warp. "Display Use Only".

I don't think it's on the flyer, but the handlebar mirror they sell for about $50 is as tough as nails, best ones I've bought. Nothing like the $13.95 "Emgos" you can buy anywhere, that sag like a dead sunflower after a little use ..

Altogether a good place to deal with.

Lannis,I wonder if you got a bad set of NJB shocks. I have had good luck with them. I have had them on 3 british bikes and they have been fine. And by the way, up until recently I was pushing 300 lbs, so they got a workout.

It could very well be that I got some bad ones. But both pairs just seemed to wear out very fast, and the shroud bits started scraping together. Just for me, from now on I'm sticking with Hagons even at 2-1/2 times the price!

Dennis,
Mike did say that the sale would start some time in November, a bit later than usual this year. Keep checking their website under sales. I'm waiting for it to start too as usually rim/spoke sets are sale priced and I stock up on items for the upcoming rebuild season here in Canada (that's what we call winter!).
