I've got one on the bench waiting to be installed on the A-65, but I forgot to buy longer studs... blush

The OD of the thread is 1/2 in.
I count 5 turns on 1/4 in. of length.
What that makes the thread I don't know. I'm metric. grin

PS... Stop press...

20 TPI makes it 1/2 in UNF... Not bad hey, for a metric!

Doe je best.
wink

So you have a cunning plan.
Can I guess? You want to replace the drain plug by a drain tap.

Not all 1/2" 20tpi are UNF though, as BSA used the BSC "20 tpi" series of threads too.

The sump plate is not made by BSA.
It's a fairly recent after market improvement.

But since I'm a metric and you are the imperial, I'm not going to argue with you about non metric threads. wink
