More questions...

My bike has a Mod 50 engine with a dollshead box and an open primary with a guard. There's an engine vent or breather with a right angle pipe on the crankcase down by the main bearing that seems to blow (too much) oil onto the clutch etc. Can this be routed into the oil tank breather or to the rear of the bike and just lube the primary manually now and again? The only thing that worries me is the clutch basket bearing(s). It's just very messy as is.

Also can anyone tell me the tappet clearances for a Mod 50 (late altenator)

Many thanks
John

Hi
tappet clearance is ZERO, ie just free to turn pushrod.

Oil is always cheaper than metal
