Anybody out there as ever added 2 more cylinder head bolt 1/4" or 5/16" on the center of 500 T100. Like the 750 T140. If so what advantage or disavantage of doing this modificsation. In other words is it worth it.
I asked this same question a year or two ago after experiencing a warped head, the result of very spirited riding over the course of the Summer. I know a Triumph mechanic who is an advocate and says he's done this conversion succesfully on several bikes. Non of the board gurus chipped in with a reply, so I'm still running the conventional head......And riding slower. I would still be interested in opinions though.
