Gunk,
Nice job on the decal. I removed the picture from my webspace some time ago because it seemed there was absoulutely zero interest and I have a limited amount of space. Here it is again.
Johnny Allen Streamliner decal

BTW ...I talked to Denis "BUB" Manning today at a Cycle World show in Cleveland. He thinks I should donate my decal / # plate to the British Motorcycle Museum (might have to do that if they want it) where they rebuilt Johnny Allens streamliner.Yeah..the one that our beloved Bonnevilles are named after. cool

The BUB Streamliner that pushed 350.884 MPH was at the show today. eek

Sheesh.
The fella in the first decal musta hit a mosquito or something.

I notice I might have gotten the date wrong.
It was chipped off on the original artwork posted by Tarvin, I tried to do research and figure out the correct date, but the time was never "officialized" so his accomplishment is not in the record books.

Are these two separate records or one in the same?

Gunk -
I think you got the date correct, and I think it was 2 different decals celebrating 2 different runs. The speeds are certainly different.

Or maybe my decal is for the "return run" going down-wind!!
