I know I know, this isn't a British front wheel but somehow it ended up on my bike. Rumor is that it's Japanese and I'm wondering what type of cable end would fit into this brake arm? It's a horse-shoe type opening that needs some type of barrel? The picture is of me trying to fit a Triumph style brake clamp into the opening. I'm pretty sure this was a standard arm on a lot of 70s Japanese bikes but I can't seem to track down what I need for my cable to make it work. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Gabe

Whatever fits. But, whatever you end up with there...you BETTER route that brake cable correctly!!! It should go in between the two plates as you have it but then it HAS TO run around that bolt and back up and out the top next to where it goes in!!!! If you don't...we'll be reading about you in the obits.

Life is short but very wide.
