Thanks for the report Mike. I arrived back in Darwin at 4am this morning and I'm just going through the various options on the next move now.
Thanks ever so much Tiger, Melbourne Metisse and Mike TRP for giving up your time to help out.
It was great to meet you and I'm starting to put more faces to names on this board now.

Yep... one bolt....
Never mind it will come and hopefully the plan will continue.

For the guys looking and wondering about the project, - I should add it's the wing I really need. They have an 11,000 hour finite life on this model and with 120 to run on mine in NZ I really had to think seriously about a replacement.
Having said that I am sure the cabin, firewall, engine mounts etc of this machine will be feeling air under them again.

I'm hoping to have the machine crated and on it's way this week so hopefully I can report in a few days with an update, - and hopefully more cheerful news.

You're very welcome K, certainly was an interesting experience and I probably won't get the chance to dismantle another 'Traumahawk' again for a while! I was seriously considering either hacksaw, oxy-acetylene or Semtex for that last bolt...

Get some Little Creatures on ice for our next meeting!

PS - I didn't leave my set of Allen keys in the container, did I Kevin? They're in a red plastic roll. I've been looking for them everywhere...

My claw hammer is also missing in action, no great loss as it is an old POS and I suspect it was left in the grass next to the hulk, hope someone does not find it with a mower.
