The tire size is 4.00 x 18 rear and 3.25 x 19 on the front, both on original rims.

I painted it in my driveway in my redneck paint booth made from a pop-up tent. Photos don't do the colors justice, House of Kolor candy lime gold and violet, I was going for a sixties vibe. I came up with the idea for the graphics (Arai helmet logo combined with BSA logo) and a buddy of mine did the art in adobe illustrator, I then had a sign company make an adhesive stencil. The only part I didn't do was the pinstripe.

There is a lot of work in the frame, steering head boxed in, upper frame tubes boxed in, custom oil tank mounts and swingarm lengthened. Most wiring hidden in frame. Original seat pan shortened and narrowed. One-off flat track style clip-ons bent and welded by my buddy.

I know the purists are cringing that I cut up a Hornet but it had already been modified in the seventies and was missing too many parts to make a restoration feasible. [Linked Image] [Linked Image] [Linked Image]
