1966 B44 VE I bought from Chicago area about twelve years ago. It is as I bought it except it has been completely gone through using Rupert Ratio book so I can ride it regularly.Bottom and top end were in nice shape but transmission and primary were rough. Has a nicely polished connecting rod. The ET coil was useless so I installed a 12V rotor/stator/rectfier/zener/commando capacitor to get it running. Works fine but will reinstall ET system with a Japanese coil.Front brake is also pretty much useless. Am going to try and skim the drum and see if it helps. Also has an alloy front wheel. But it sure is fun, I try to position myself for a start at top of a hill as kicking this thing is hardly worth it. Most people have no idea what it is and just stand there gawking at it.
